Event Glide, an event production company with a focus on professional development via meetings, today announces that co-founder, John Rabold, has inherited full-time company responsibilities as event manager and vice president of the Bloomington, Indiana-based organization.

Rabold will be serving as vice president and event manager, and will be responsible for all day-to-day operations at Event Glide. With several years of meeting planning experience and the appointment of the designation of Certified Meeting Planner (CMP), Rabold is an industry veteran who will help lead the team.    

"This executive transition allows Event Glide to focus on all the essentials of constructing a successful meeting from beginning to end for our customer base,” said Rabold, co-founder and event manager of Event Glide. “I am excited to continue to develop my role within this innovative company and look forward to growing our business and continuing to provide top-tier service to our customers."

Event Glide is slated to offer five events this year, as well as provide meeting planning services to one association. The company has created two athletic performance workshops, Enhancing Athletic Performance: Strength, Agility, and Nutrition, taking place in Jacksonville, Florida in June and Columbus, Ohio in July; and two customer service workshops, Customer Service Excellence, also taking place in Jacksonville, Florida in June and Columbus, Ohio in early August. Additionally, they created a lactation industry conference, Midwest Lactation Conference: Clinical Skills and Community Outreach, which will occur in Indianapolis, Indiana this September.

Event Glide’s goal is to create events throughout a wide array of industries. Attendees of Event Glide’s events will leave equipped with the newest tools, best practices, and inspiration to make an immediate impact at their respective organizations.
