Dakota Hope Clinic

Posted: Updated:

Guidance for unplanned pregnancy is coming to Minot.

Dakota Hope, a Christian Ministry, will be moving to Downtown Minot in a few weeks.

The Dakota Hope Clinic will provide health services, support and education for sexual health, pregnancy and parenting.

The clinic offers free pregnancy testing and ultra sounds done within the facility.

Counseling for unplanned pregnancy is also provided.

Dakota hope has no affiliation with any medical or adoption agencies, but they do offer referrals for any options being discussed.

As a Christian organization, Board Chair of Dakota Hope says they will encourage those seeking guidance to choose life, but will discuss all options to better educate those in need.

(Nadia Smetana, Board Chair, Dakota Hope Clinic) "Some people that choose abortion, choose it because they feel desperate, they feel that they don't have any other choice. Part of the work of out clinic will be to give them other choices. Help them to know that with support and education, there are really other viable options."

Recruiting for an executive director and nurse manager are underway.

Opening date of the clinic will be determined by highering and training of those positions.
