Accusations Against Shirvani "Baseless"

Posted:

Recent accusations against Chancellor Ham Shirvani are baseless.

That's according to Bob Skarphol, who is the chairman of the Education Appropriations Committee.

Skarphol says Shirvani presented lawmakers with documentation, proving he did not falsify graduation rate data and instead showing institutions in a better light than they could have been.

Skarphol says the chancellor has been unfairly accused.

Wednesday a University System employee told lawmakers she believed Shirvani gave lawmakers misleading information to make two college presidents look bad.

Shirvani says told House Appropriations members he didn't manipulate any data.
