(Teresa Jorgenson - UPS Store) "I want to do something different...I want to be my own boss...and the opportunity was right in Williston."

So Teresa Jorgenson retired from her 20 year career as a teacher and has started this -- the UPS Store in north Williston. It makes her her own boss...and also makes her busy! The store opened up about two and a half months ago and they have been very busy, as is the norm in Williston. Jorgenson says the post office was overflowing, and adding a shipping center like this has been well received. The biggest hurdle was finding a location...and in the right spot.

(Teresa Jorgenson - UPS Store) "It is hard to know where to locate in Williston because it is expanding so quickly everywhere but actually the whole north end has been annexed into the city and it seems like the housing is on the NW edge and quite a few coming into the north."

You'll find the UPS Store at 301 58th Street West and they are open Monday through Saturday.

In Minot, inside Pet Parade along 20th Avenue you'll find the Rock N Roll Cowboy Boutique. Owner Lori Hendrickson says she carries quote, 'blingy stuff!' -- and I agree! There is a western feel at the Boutique that opened on Monday of this week. Stop by and check it out seven days a week.

Finally, in Surrey, Crane Johnson Lumber Company has been open for a few months now...but today, they officially had, not a ribbon cutting...but fittingly, a board cutting to officially open the newest Crane location along Highway 2.

With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
