National Champ Visits Minot

Posted: Updated:

A national champion visited Minot today.

As a member of the1994 National Champion Nebraska Cornhuskers Aaron Davis is no stranger to success.

The former college football player brought his message to the 2013 Visit Minot Annual meeting this afternoon.

Davis says the most important trait to succeed in business - and in life - is proper attitude, and a willingness to come together as a team.

(Aaron Davis, Keynote Speaker) "People working together to get the message out there past Minot. Look at the Oil Boom that has hit your whole state. How you've had to work together to make that work for it to grow. You don't want it to fizzle out right away. I know obviously there has been those growth pains. But that happens when change happens. I think the thing that I've noticed most is how people are working together and that's in those small business that have developed over the past year or year and a half as well."

(Teresa Loftesnes, President, Visit Minot) "With all of the activity going. That brings workers, it brings needed services, needed sales, retail outlets to serve those people. Minot has responded quickly, I believe, to be able to greet our new customers, our new visitors to this area and greater North Dakota."

Visit Minot was formerly known as the Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau.
