Student Spotlight-Surrey

Posted: Updated:

Last year we met her sister in our Student Spotlight.

This year, it's Lindsey Mogard's turn to shine as Surrey's top graduate.

Here she is in tonight's Student Spotlight.

(Lindsey Mogard, Surrey Senior) "I liked the smallness of the school, I got to know everybody. The teachers are always good, you can always go to them if you have a question. Just being in a small school was a plus. I don't have a favorite teacher - I liked all of them they're all helpful. My favorite subject is math because I'm good at it so it's fun. I was in basketball, volleyball, and track, student council, honor society and I've been in the academic olympics for a couple of years. I plan on going to Minot State to pursue a degree in pediatric nursing because my younger sister Katie, she is 5, was premature and born two months early so we were in the NICU for a whole month so I got to see how the nurses took care of the babies and she inspired me a lot."

Congratulations to Lindsey and these honor students at Surrey High School.

Graduation day in Surrey is May 26th.
