MSU at the Mall

Posted: Updated:

Today was a day of celebration for Minot State University.

"MSU At The Mall" was held today in the Sears court.

The event held is to promote Minot State and show everything it has to offer.

There were over 25 different student organizations and academic groups that brought their programs.

Nursing students, members of the art program, English club, and many more had booths set up with activities for people of all ages.

Rather than just showing potential students what the college has to offer, it is a time for MSU alumni to get out and reconnect with the school.

One new and exciting part of Minot State is the entrepreneurship club.

This group meets a couple of times a week and thinks of ways to start businesses.

Their last big project was the "Beaver Brew Cafe," across from campus on Broadway.

Any student, no matter what their major, can help.

This was one of many exciting projects to show audiences at the mall today.

(Teresa Loftesnes, Director of Marketing for Minot State University) "There are so many activities to be engaged in, within their major, outside of their major, with student organizations. And student engagement is what we like to talk about a lot because when students get engaged, they give back to their community."

To get involved with any Minot State clubs, contact the main office at 858-3018.
