Student Spotlight: Maddock

Posted: Updated:

She's a track star headed for University of Mary and hoping to get into exercise science.

Let's meet Katelynn Engh, the top graduate at Maddock High School in tonight's Student Spotlight.

(Katelynn Engh, Maddock Senior) "Here at Maddock we have great teachers, they really help you out and are willing to help you any time of the day and it's just really fun here and I just really like it here. I really like shop and choir, mostly because of the teachers, I have some awesome teachers. Miss Sears is our English teacher, she's really a great teacher, she knows a lot of stuff and gets the information out there so we can learn it. Mr. Wald teaches shop and he's just a great guy, a really great, hard working guy. He's one of those teachers who teach you life lessons and I've learned a lot from him. Choir, Mrs. Markestad teaches choir and I just love her, she's a loving woman, another life lesson teacher. It's been really fun with all those teachers. I play volleyball, basketball, and track and I'm in band and choir and drumline. Next year I plan on going to University of Mary where I'll be running track and cross country, that'll be good, and then I'm going into exercise science."

Congratulations to Katelynn and these honor graduates at Maddock High School.
