Over half of Bismarck residents wonder when their streets will be plowed, while many others are upset by the amount of snow left in the plows wake.
Bismarck city officials say forty-percent of city streets have been plowed.
Jeff Heintz with Public Works says the volume and weight of the snow is slowing down the plows.
The weight of the snow is also preventing the use of snow gates, which has left some driveways plugged and some residents unhappy.
Heintz says the snow gates are being damaged by the snow.
He says the city ordinance does allow for them to not use plows during snow emergencies like this one.
Heintz says every plow is working right now around the clock.
The City of Dickinson has been plowing and removing snow day and night and plans to have all roads plowed by tomorrow.
