Student Spotlight: North Shore

Posted: Updated:

She wants to spend her life building things as an engineer.

Let's meet Whitney Lee - the top graduate at North Shore High School in Makoti in tonight's Student Spotlight.

(Whitney Lee, North Shore Senior) "It's nice that there aren't as many teachers and students because you get more one on one time and the teachers can actually help you. I really like history class - I've had four history classes in the past two years and my teacher is Mrs. Petrik. Two of them have been college classes and it's been really good to get into college classes, different from high school classes. I've been involved in basketball, volleyball, track, student council, annual staff, drama...many things. Next year I'm going to college at Bismarck State in the engineering program in probably more of civil engineering. I kind of want to find a career where I can use my creative brain and my math and science skills pulled together building things."

Congratulations to Whitney and these honor graduates at North Shore High School in Makoti.
