Student Spotlight-Kenmare

Posted: Updated:

Time for tonight's Student Spotlight.

And this time we travel to Kenmare to meet the top graduate this year, Alexis Munson.

(Alexis Munson, Kenmare Senior) "I like Kenmare because its a small school - we're all pretty much friends and we know each other so it's really home-friendly and you're really comfortable with everybody. I always liked English, Mrs. St.Claire was my English teacher and that's my favorite subject. My dad is my math teacher so I guess I kind of have to like that class but I like all my classes. I play volleyball and basketball and also part of FBLA -I'm the president of FBLA this year and that 's a lot of fun with friends going to conventions and stuff. Next year I'll go to NDSU and plan to major in vocational counseling. I want to help younger kids but don't always want to be a classroom so I've thought counseling would be good to help them out with their plans and what they want to do."

Congratulations to Alexis and these honor graduates at Kenmare High School.

A total of 15 seniors will be graduating on May 26th.
