The 24th Annual Spring Honor Dance is welcoming in spring with a new beat.
Dancers from across the state are competing today and Saturday at the Minot State University Dome.
The final dance tomorrow night will honor MSU graduates - wishing them luck in the career transition.

MSU Native American Center Director Annette Mennem says no matter how many dances you've been too, there's something new to see.

I think when you come to powwows and you pay attention to the regalia, you'll see the difference from one tribe to another, or from one clan to another. You'll see the diversity and it exists there as well."
The Spring Honor Dance will continue through Saturday evening at the MSU Dome.
