Police Search for Suspect in Dickinson Stabbing

Dickinson police are still searching for a man, wanted for questioning in connection to a stabbing early Sunday morning.

According to Captain Joe Cianni, 28-year-old Timothy Leroy Sumpter is still at large.

Dickinson Police responded to the 600 block of East Villard in reference to an assault around 2:14 Sunday morning.

A 31-year-old Dickinson man had a knife wound to his upper torso, and was admitted to the hospital.

According to police, Timothy Sumpter fled the scene on foot, is still at large and is wanted by authorities.

The general public is not believed to be in any immediate danger at this time.
