Student Spotlight: New Town

Posted: Updated:

Each spring, we introduce you to top high school graduates from more than 50 area schools.

Tonight, we meet the valedictorian at New Town in our Student Spotlight.

(Lucas Wollschlager, New Town Senior) "I was taught to get good grades and that would get me far in life. I've been a part of sports but knew that sports weren't going to be the only option for me. Throughout high school I liked chemistry and biology and I liked my English class this year with my senior teacher Mr. Jenkins - he's pretty great. I've been involved in student council, FFA, I've been on the football team, baseball team, wrestling team, I've been involved in all sorts of extra curricular activities. I plan on attending NDSU and hopefully majoring in engineering."

Congratulations to Lucas and these high honor students at New Town.

A total of 32 seniors will be graduating on May 26th.
