Student Spotlight: Turtle Lake

Posted: Updated:

She plans to play college basketball and become a pediatrician.

Let's meet Chloe Bayless, the top graduate this year at Turtle Lake High School in tonight's Student Spotlight.

(Chloe Bayless, Turtle Lake Senior) "We have really good teachers here, there's always a lot of people to help you out no matter what. There's a lot of after school things if you have trouble, they're always there to help you out whatever you need. My favorite subjects are probably the sciences, I like biology and anatomy - those were always my favorite classes. My favorite actual class was choir - I like choir a lot. It's not really an academic but that's my favorite class to go to. I really like sports so I play basketball, volleyball, I used to play track, but mainly basketball and volleyball are what I'm most involved in, pep club, FFA too. Next year I'm planning on attending Jamestown College and studying biology, pre-med and I'm going to play basketball for the Jimmies. So that's next year and when I graduate I'm hoping to go to med school and become a pediatrician."

Congratulations to Chloe and these honor graduates at Turtle Lake High School.

A total of 13 seniors will get their diplomas on May 19th.

It's almost here...The 2014-2015 school year is less than a month away, and districts around the region are trying to get a handle on just how many kids will come through the doors on that first day.
