Annual Flea Market to Benefit Bismarck Art Turns Out Crowds

Posted: Updated:

This  annual event is so popular, patrons line-up before it opens.

The Annual Flea Market and Art Exchange raises money for the Bismarck Art and Galleries Association, which works to stimulate art studies and presentation.  They say everything from furniture and decorations to linens and collectibles go quickly every year.  This year was no exception.

"This is, annually, always busy, and we have people waiting in their cars at the door when we open at eight, and it's a rush to get the best stuff," says Sue Cahill, Board President, Bismarck Art & Galleries Association.

If you missed out, the Association says you may find some of the leftovers at Seeds of Hope, the Goodwill store and the Boys' Ranch.  There's still time to attend their next event -- the Fourth Annual Student Art Show.  It starts on Tuesday and runs through May 24th.
