Student Spotlight: Trenton

Student Spotlight: Trenton

Posted: Updated:

If ever there were a perfectly-named student to be valedictorian at Trenton, this young man is it.

His name? Trenton Hove.

Here he is in tonight's Student Spotlight.

(Trenton Hove, Trenton Senior) "During class periods you're not afraid to speak up and you get more one on one time with the teacher. I think the fact that it's a small school allows you to become more comfortable in your environment so you can ask more questions and get to your full potential. My favorite class would have to be anatomy. I'm interested in anatomy and the body because that's what I want to study when I get into college. My favorite teacher is Mr. Burger, he is so laid back and he understands what the students go through on a daily basis and he's one of the go-to guys that anyone can go and talk to. My activities mainly revolve around sports. I played all three sports this year, football, baseball, and basketball so the sports keep me pretty busy year around. Next year I plan to go to the University of Mary and major in radiology technology. While I'm at U Mary I plan to play baseball so hopefully my baseball career kicks off and I can play past the collegiate level but if not after college I plan to move back here around home and work in a nearby hospital.

Congratulations to Trenton Hove - the valedictorian at Trenton High School - and these honor students.

A total of 20 graduates will receive their diplomas on May 19th.
