Student Spotlight: Sidney

Posted: Updated:

Time for tonight's Student Spotlight - where we meet top graduates from area high schools.

This time we're in Sidney to meet two top seniors - Heather McDonald and Amy Bieber.

(Heather McDonald, Sidney Senior) "I like the way our teachers can really interact with our smaller classrooms. And it's also fun the way they are more personal towards you and you can develop close relationships with them."

(Amy Bieber, Sidney Senior) "I'd have to say my favorite subjects are the business classes that are taught my Ms. Elaine Steadman. She's really helpful and she prepares you for the future and anything you're trying to do."

(Heather McDonald, Sidney Senior) "I've been involved in six different clubs in my high school career. I've been in National Honor Society, KEY Club, International Club, robotics club, and some more clubs. I've been on the track team for two years and I was on our school cheer and dance team for three years."

(Amy Bieber, Sidney Senior) "I don Tae Kwan Do, I've been in that for six years now. I'm also in KEY Club which is a volunteering service, and I do student government- I'm currently the VP of the senior class."

(Heather McDonald, Sidney Senior) "I plan to go to Arizona State University and study civil engineering and hope to go into structural engineering from there."

(Amy Bieber, Sidney Senior) "Next year I'm going to Montana State in Billings to major in accounting to one day become a CPA and help people with their taxes."

Congratulations to these honor graduates at Sidney High School.

A total of 88 seniors will be getting their diplomas on May 26th.
