That was the task at hand Tuesday morning in Minot for the annual Young Professionals 'Supermarket Sweep' event.
Teams were certainly in the spirit today -- donning consumes like you would see on the old TV version of the show.
While today was certainly a bunch of fun for these two person teams...the ultimate goal was raising money, and buying food.
The beneficiary of the work is the Minot Homeless Coalition who sends out the goods to local food banks.
In its 4th year, the ten competitors got a morning workout...and those in need will see food on the table thanks to the efforts of the young professionals...
(Veronica Meyer - YP Minot) "It has been great to restock the food pantries. All the food pantries have fundraisers during the year but this falls during a slow time so it is good to restock for the summer."
Last year the fundraiser totaled five thousand dollars worth of food...this year, the final tally was more than 42-hundred dollars and First Western Bank had the winning team.
