Task Force Reaction

Posted: Updated:

Inspections are in place for a reason and Task Force 21 continues to stand in support of the Minot Air Force Base.

Head of the Task Force, Mark Jantzer says it's important to remember that the 17 individuals were not fired, their certification was revoked for the 'Minutemen III missile launch operations.'

Jantzer says Global Strike Command will be looking at ALL aspects including management --- which he says is the purpose of inspections.

(Mark Jantzer, Task Force 21) "The inspection process is designed to make sure that these officers meet that standard of perfection. When an inspection uncovers something that isn't up to standards, they get corrective action. That's exactly what's happening. I think the system is working as it's supposed to."

Jantzer says support of our men and women at Minot Air Force Base continues to be the top priority.

Task Force 21 is Minot's base retention and new mission committee.
