There's a four-way tie for valedictorian honors at Velva High School this year.

So let's meet the foursome in tonight's Student Spotlight.

(Ahnna Peterson, Velva Senior) "I participated in basketball and volleyball and other activities I participate in were FFA, FBLA, FCCA, and choir. Those have all kept me very busy."

(Emma Keller, Velva Senior) "FOr sports I've been involved in basketball, volleyball, and track. And other activities include FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, math counts and science olympiad."

(Georgie Dietz, Velva Senior) "I have participated in FBLA and FCCLA. I went to state and nationals for both of them - lots of fun experiences there. Also I've been in track for six years so that's been great."

(Katelyn Sandy, Velva Senior) "I've been involved in volleyball, basketball, track, FBLA, FCCLA, band, student council and science olympiad."

(Ahnna Peterson, Velva Senior) "Next fall I plan on going to Bismarck State College to do my generals and then transfer out to Sanford Health and pursue a degree in nursing."

(Emma Keller, Velva Senior) "I plan on attending Williston State College where I'll be playing basketball and after two years I plan on going to NDSU to obtain a degree in civil engineering."

(Georgie Dietz, Velva Senior) "Next year I plan to attend BSC in the fall to start out with my generals. I haven't totally decided on my major but I'd like to do something with children."

(Katelyn Sandy, Velva Senior) "I plan on going to Minot State University and hope to go into nursing and after nursing for a while I'll go further into the medical field."

Congratulations to these honor students at Velva High School.

There are a total of 29 seniors who'll be graduating on May 26th.
