A Minot family is working to get to the bottom of an unusual medical condition that has nearly put a stop to normal living for their 6th grader daughter.
DayLynn Schnieberbruns Months ago she had what was first thought to be a storke...she lost feeling on one side of her body, and lost vision in one eye temporarily.
After some investigation, doctors in Fargo at Sanford Health feel they are getting to the bottom of the case that keeps DayLynn inside almost exclusively.
(Laura Schnieberbruns - DayLynn's Mother) "Through testing and stuff we have come up that she does have a condition where she is having seizures and migraines that are set off easily." (DayLynn Schnieberbruns - Battling Illness) "It has been really hard because I haven't been able to go back to school and see my friends. I have been stuck here at the house and I can't go anywhere unless I wear my hat and sunglasses."
A fund has been established at Northern Tier Federal Credit Union to help the family cover some of the unexpected expenses that come with many doctor trips.
