Student Spotlight: Mandaree

Student Spotlight: Mandaree

Posted: Updated:

Time for tonight's Student Spotlight, where we meet top graduates from area high schools.

This time we're in Mandaree to meet Elena Fragoza.

(Elena Fragoza, Mandaree Senior) "My teacher Ms. Baker was always my main motivator, I've always pushed myself to succeed and it's been her there for me to talk to me and is one of my role models. My aunt Kathy has also been a role model that I look up to because she's always religious and spiritual and I respect that. My favorite class has always been English, I like to write and read. Ms. Baker is my English teacher and she's the main one who gave me books to read and they were always interesting. I want to get a degree in journalism and do writing and photography. Growing up I always had a Poloroid or something and my mother gave me a journal and I started writing all the time and enjoyed it growing up."

Congratulations to Elena - and good luck to all of the graduates from Mandaree on May 25th.
