Student Spotlight: Bottineau

Posted: Updated:

He has plans to work on Wall Street someday.

Let's meet Joey Hackman - one of the top students in the class of 2013 at Bottineau High School in tonight's Student Spotlight.

(Joey Hackman, Bottineau Senior) "I really liked the teachers and the students and everything it just adds up to make school a fun experience in Bottineau. I'm really thinking about being in business so business law and economics classes are my favorite - those are taught by Mr. Simpson and Mr. Gienger and they're probably two of my favorite teachers here. I'm in basketball, track, DECA, I'm an officer in the FFA, National Honor Society vice president, just a lot of things to keep me busy. Next year I plan on going to UND and majoring in business or finance. And after getting my bachelor's or master's degree I plan on maybe going to New York and working on Wall Street if I can."

Congratulations to Joey and these honor students - a big list of top students for the class of 2013 at Bottineau High School.

A total of 57 seniors will be getting their diplomas on Sunday, May 26th.
