Student Spotlight: Medicine Lake

Student Spotlight: Medicine Lake

Posted: Updated:

Time for tonight's Student Spotlight, we're in Medicine Lake, Montana to meet Emerson Engstrom.

(Emerson Engstrom, Medicine Lake Graduate) "I like the school and attending here because it's small and a rural community. I've also liked the teachers, being able to have the same teacher for four years of high school is kind of nice because you can get to know the teachers and learn easier that way. My favorite subject is calculus with Mr. Rasumssen, other ones are government with Aaron Webster, and anatomy and physiology with Mr. Taylor. I've participated in sport America, basketball 9-12, and golf 9-12. I'm going to be attending Montana Tech in Butte and I'm going to be enrolled in the petroleum engineering field. I'd like to come back and be involved in the oil field opportunities to be successful."

Congratulations to Emerson and these honor students at Medicine Lake High School.

A total of 11 seniors received their diplomas last Sunday.
