The newest ship of the of the United State Navy is named after the 39th state.
USS North Dakota is the second naval ship to be named after the state.
The ship will be the first submarine equipped with two "six shooter" large missile tubes each armed with six Tomahawk cruise missiles.
14 officers and 120 enlisted men will be traveling the globe serving our country.
Two members of the crew are excited for the deployment and have enjoyed working with the state on the ship they will be calling home for the foreseeable future.

The sub is expected be commissioned around the beginning of 2014.
