Man Arrested after Burglar Alarm Sounds at Plaza Drug

A 21-year-old Bismarck man is arrested after a burglar alarm sounded Monday at a Bismarck store.

Dalton James Dean is charged with burglary--a class 'C' felony.

Police were called Plaza Drug around 7:30pm last night.

When they arrived an officer saw a person inside with a blue bandana by the pharmacy.

Dean tried to escape out the back but was arrested.

The man entered the building prior to closing time. He then crawled through ceiling ducts to get to a secure part of the pharmacy causing $2,000 in damage.

Officers found two bottles of narcotics in his possession including a bottle of Lorazepam--a schedule IV narcotic.
