As Bismarck continues to grow, so does the need for more space in schools.
Four new portables are placed at the Career Academy on the BSC campus.
Future Legacy High School students will use them for two years until the new school is built.
Although it's not a normal setting for learning, the portables look like a classroom and hold about 20 to 25 students.
"We keep up on the portables, you know, we make sure that the carpet is nice in there. The walls are always freshly painted. You know, after we move them we go through them all and we clean them up and they are nice, they're nice classrooms inside," says Jason Mittlestadt, Facility Supervisor for Bismarck Public Schools.
Seven additional portables will go to Century High School to help solve space issues there...
