Hope Village Concert

Hope Village Concert

Posted: Updated:

There are many ways to say thank you, it can be spoken, written or in the case of last night: performed.

Local Minot musicians said thanks to volunteers at Hope Village.

Several area groups performed for any and all volunteers still at Hope Village.

Food was provided by the Hess corporation before the concert as a token of their thanks to the volunteers.

Katie Nesdahl thought of the idea to have local artists perform to show thanks and prove that Minot will continue to move forward after the flood.

(Katie Nesdahl, Coordinator) "I wanted people to be able to see that when they come here to know that MInot is not just a flooded place, that is still working through so many hard things. There is a lot of hope in the music that is found here and the art that is found here. And also to say thank you for the people that are coming here to say this is who we are and we want to thank you for helping us to become a better place once again."
