This week celebrated the 17th annual Dakota Chamber Music workshop at Ann Nicole Nelson Hall in Minot.
For the past 16 years the DCM has only accepted string instrument auditions, but this year that changed.
Wind instruments like saxophone and french horn were also added to the mix.
All week high school students and older perfected their music to prepare for the five day long event.
This year, the festival had the largest group of participants.
The program hopes to keep the workshop going annually, and continue to receive greater numbers of auditions.
