Dads Enjoy a Round of Golf on Father's Day

Posted: Updated:

It's a day to take care of and celebrate dads, and many patriarchs could be found spending Father's Day on the golf course.

It's been a busy one at Riverwood golf course in South Bismarck.

Several fathers and their families are spotted going for the greens together.

We follow along with one group doing just that.

Duane Houdek got a new set of clubs for Father's Day.

He is out with his son Ben and a close family friend to enjoy the holiday testing out his new Father's Day present.

But the real gift it seems is in the day itself.

"The new clubs are great, unfortunately they didn't come with a new player so that part still needs some work!" says Duane Houdek.

(Is he better or are you better?) "He is he is, today he is!" says Ben Houdek

"Ben's a golfer, I'm a hacker, but I like it because we get out and we spend time together so that's what it means to me, you hit a shot now and then that's kind of fun too." says Duane Houdek.
