"The Event" Brings Excitement to Huff Hills

Posted: Updated:

This Saturday June 29th will be an eventful day here in Bismarck.

Along with the McQuade Softball Tournament, you could also be a part of the excitement at Huff Hills.

The Event at Huff Hills in Bismarck is a 5K obstacle course.

The race isn't about getting in shape, but about having fun.

The nearly three mile course will feature 14 crazy and challenging obstacles.

"We're going to have chair lift rides for five dollars for people to be able to go up to the top of the hill on the lift and then walk down and be able to watch the course so sometimes these obstacle races you come out to watch and you can't see all the obstacles from wherever you are. We're going to have the opportunity to get on the lift and be able to view the whole course so that'll be kind of neat," says Andy Beck, Mountain Operations Manager/Huff Hills.

Partial proceeds will go to the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation to promote cancer prevention.

For more information on the event or to register go to www.event.huffhills.com.
