Fireworks will be lighting up the sky tomorrow night, but so will something else.
The Touchstone Energy hot air balloon has already taken flight this week at the Mandan Rodeo Days Celebration.
Each day the balloon appears at an event, a donation of $510 is given to a local charity.
The balloon serves as an expression of gratitude to our veterans.
Dave Champion shared just what it's like to be able to take flight in one of these balloons.
"It's so peaceful and serene. It's very quiet in the basket as you're flying except for the little burner noise you have to have to keep the heat in the balloon. And you get a panoramic view out of the basket because you can see 360 degrees around," says Dave Champion, Commercial Hot Air Balloon Pilot.
The balloon was unable to be flown tonight due to the wind but you still have one more chance to see it.
The balloon will be at the state capitol grounds tomorrow evening at 6pm.
