Sherwood All School Reunion

Sherwood All School Reunion

Posted: Updated:

While the graduating classes of Sherwood High School may have been small over the years, the loyalty students have to the school is quite large.

That held true the past two days at the Sherwood All School Reunion.

The event was open to any one who either graduated or attended Sherwood schools in some capacity.

Two members of the graduating class of 1940 showed up to show their school spirit.

Anyone interested in taking a trip down memory lane could do so by touring Sherwood School.

Activities for the two day reunion ranged from a cook off, a golf tournament, a parade and a dance.

The idea for the reunion came about - six months ago and one member of the reunion committee is excited to see her fellow Wildcats.

(Kristy Titus, Reunion Committee Member) "It's great to have so many people back in town and enjoying the reunion and we have a lot of festivities. It's great, when I came into town this morning somebody was dressed up in a Wildcat costume and greeting people."

About 500 former students reunited during the two days.

The night will cap off with a good old fashion Sherwood Wildcat bonfire and fireworks.
