BOGA Sand Volleyball Tournament

Posted: Updated:

A group of athletes puts their outdoor skills to the test in a friendly game of sand volleyball.

The Bismarck Arts and Galleries held their 5th Annual Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Tournament at pioneer park.

This game is different because it's a draw tournament also known as haybale style.

"Everybody signs up as an individual player so you either sign up as a hitter or a setter and then we take all the names and we put them all on teams and make them as even as possible according to players ability and level that they play and we put them all so that they're even teams and we just play," says Melissa Gordon, Member of Bismarck Arts and Galleries.

Players paid a $15 fee to enter.

All of the money collected goes to the Bismarck Arts and Galleries Association.
