It was a trip back in time for folks in Kenmare today.
For the 7th year, the town celebrated Pioneer Day.
The all day event is a way to remember the past.
The history of the town was on display, from old pictures, to artifacts from the early 19-hundreds - could be found inside old buildings which are a rich part of the towns history.
There was something for the whole family... a scavenger hunt for the children, a log-cutting contest, raffles, a pig roast and the night capped off with a play.
Board president, Bryan Quigley says the day wouldn't be possible without the help from the entire community.
(Bryan Quigley, Board President, Pioneer Village) "It's take a lot of support. This is all volunteers for the most part that work in here and if we didn't have the volunteers then we wouldn't be able to do it. We are constantly trying to maintain 22 buildings is a job in its self. Kenmare has been very supportive, the area businesses have been very supportive and the community at large." >>
