Four teens involved in an escape from YCC last December face multiple felony charges in district court.
Kyran Johnson, Emmanuel Hunter, Terrick Kern and Bobby Divine are charged with escape, conspiracy to commit escape and criminal conspiracy following the December 9th incident.
Johnson and Hunter also face aggravated assault charges for putting a corrections officer in a chokehold during the escape causing the man to lose consciousness.
The officer suffered minor injuries.
Two of the teens are from Minot, one if from Fargo and the fourth from Cando. All are currently in custody at YCC.
Morton County State's Attorney Gabrielle Goter says she expects the suspects to make initial court appearances later this week.
