Last Bismarck Govs Game Begins With a Marriage Proposal

Posted:

The Bismarck Governors hosted their final home game of the season tonight.

And the first pitch of the last game will carry memories beyond just this season.

"You've blessed me with your friendship, honored me with your courtship will you blessingly honor me with your hand in marriage, yes," Zach Schuchard said.

Before tonight's Bismarck Governor's game number 22, Zach Schuchard made his girlfriend, Jazmyn Oban throw the first pitch.

After she threw the first pitch, Zach pulled out another ball from his back pocket that was cut open with a diamond ring inside.

And of course Jazmyn said yes.

"That's not how I was planning, I was surprised," Jazmyn Oban said.

"Baseball is a big part of my life and you know so I thought of the idea it just came up and I talked to the coaches and they were more than willing, they said you plan it and we'll make it happen," Zach Schuchard said.
