The fair brought several musical acts to Minot, but not all of them required instruments.
The A-Capella group "Six Appeal" garnered quite a bit of attention from crowds earlier in the week.
The group is based in St. Paul, Minnesota, and travels all over the country to perform.
The six members of the group are between ages 24 and 28, and all share a passion for music.
A cappella means that no instruments are used in the songs they perform, so every note and beat you hear comes from their mouths.
And besides performances like these here at the state fair, they have an educational program to teach kids all over the country about a cappella singing.
While many groups like this have a theme they stick to, Six Appeal gets into all types of music for the fans.
(Andrew Berkowitz and Trey Jones, Members of "Six Appeal") "We kind of say that we do all sorts of genres. But, we do mostly pop and rock. We'll do R&B, we'll do soul, we'll do jazz, we'll do classic oldies, I mean, whatever we can get our hands on."
