Crowe Held Without Bond in Swain Murder Case

Bond is set in the murder case of a man accused of killing a South Dakota teen in Bismarck.

A judge has decided 20 year old Theo Crowe will be held in the Burleigh County jail without bond.

Crowe is charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the death of 18 year old John Swain.

Swain had gone missing in May.

Crowe and another man, Joshua Clark, are accused of killing Swain in Bismarck.

The men were linked to Swain's death a month and a half later after a homeowner found suspicious items.

Swain's body was later found buried in Crowe's grandmother's backyard in Poplar, Montana.

Until now Crowe has been in the Williams County jail.

He was arrested in June in Williston for his involvement in a fight and threatening officers.

Those charges in Williams County have now been dismissed.
