With Bismarck's growth in population comes a need for more space in schools.
Shiloh Christian School is expanding its preschool program.
This program first began in 2004 with just 16 students.
Over the years it grew to a capacity of 100 students with a long waiting list.
Now the time has come for Shiloh to meet the need for more preschool programs.
With this new expansion, the school will now be able to accept 140 students per year.
"When the demand is there you have to ask the question is it our responsibility to help meet that demand and our board said yes, it is something that should be expected. That we help meet the demand of the community," say Morgan Forness, Superintendent of Shiloh Christian School.
Forness says they hope to add an entire preschool wing onto the north side of the elementary building in the near future.
