Fuller Gets New Review

Posted: Updated:

Minot State University President Dr. David Fuller is praising the work of current chancellor for the state's university system Dr. Larry Skogen.

Skogen was named a temporary chancellor while the search goes on for a replacement for Hamid Shirvani.

He was of course bought out of his contract after a rocky year in the state.

Dr. Skogen is the president at Bismarck State, and has filled the new roll nicely according to Fuller.

Fuller was a critic of Shirvani...and Shirvani of Fuller

The most tenured president in the system received a harsh review from Shirvani just weeks before he was let go.

Fuller says that the transition to Dr. Skogen has been very beneficial for the system as a whole.

(Dr. David Fuller - MSU President) "And he also understands that we have some healing to do and he has made that very explicit. Everything that he has done has moved us in that direction of healing and getting our system out of the turmoil we were in to a point where we are back to a very collaborative, productive system. "

Fuller is about to begin his final year as President at Minot State.

He is set to step down in June of next year.
