A Dickinson man charged with attempted human trafficking pleads not guilty to the charge.
Bobby Abplanalp entered his plea in Burleigh County Court this morning.
Abplanalp is accused of arranging to meet a person who was under 18 years old and pay them for sex.
The crime is a class A felony, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
He is still in jail.
Abplanalp was working at the Dickinson Press as the sports editor at the time.
It may have been in the 40s this morning, but that did not stop kids from lining up at the local water park this afternoon.
