Firefighters Tour Berthold Enbridge

Posted: Updated:

Firefighters met Tuesday night to work together with an energy company for the future safety of its employees.

The Mouse River Firefighter Association partnered up with Enbridge Pipelines for the event.

Last night the group was at Enbridge's Berthold site to coordinate emergency services should the firefighters services be needed.

The group meets quarterly to go over training and any potential issues that may arise.

One member of Enbridge believes it's important for the two entities to become familiar with one another.

(Charlie Roehm, Manager of Rail Services) "Enbridge is a big supporter of all of the first responders here in North Dakota and this is just a good exercise for us to partner up. To learn about each others facilities, their equipment, our equipment and how we can better help each other and others around us."
