Two teenaged boys have been charged with burglary and arson in connection with damage to Minot's Ramstad Middle School.
Minot Police report the boys, both 14 years old, have been referred to juvenile court to face the charges.
Police and fire department crews responded to the new Ramstad Middle School on August 8th.
First, they found someone had used paint to deface walls and other areas of the new building.
Then, in the evening, crews were back dealing with two small fires that caused extensive smoke damage.
The vandalism caused an estimated 100-thousand dollars in damage.
The school is still scheduled to be ready to open at Thanksgiving.
