According to the North Dakota National Guard, around 30 soldiers with the 191st MP Company arrived in Ft. Bliss Texas, shortly after noon mountain time.

A formal send-off for the Soldiers took place Oct. 27th in Fargo.

The unit arrived in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in late November, and have been providing security and support at the Joint Task Force Guantanamo detention camp.

The unit is under the command of Lt. Col. Mark Tibor, and 1st Sgt. Dean Richter, both of Bismarck, and deputy commander Maj. William Nels, of Surrey, N.D.

The soldiers will conduct post-mobilization processing at Fort Bliss before returning home.
