Business Beat

Posted: Updated:

After 25 years, Budget Music and Video of Minot has become a fixture in town, but that fixture now has a new home. Earlier this month, the business made the move from south Minot to downtown Minot. You'll find them at 11 South Main. They say business in the new location has been slowly picking up over the last few weeks and they still offer music -- including records! -- and other items.

Speaking of business picking up, you can definitely say that about this business...after all, it is back to school season. Inside Magic City Campus and open to ANYONE who wants to stop by is the Magi Market. The DECA students run the business as part of class, and this year they are making some big improvements. Online sales will soon be offered and credit cards can now be used, plus you'll have opportunities to shop with them out in the community.

Advisor Cassie Vetter says the Magi Market provides a super learning tool unlike anything you can find in a textbook...

And don't forget...anyone can stop by.

They are open weekdays from 7:30 to 3...and until 3:30 on Wednesdays. With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
