A Minot State football player facing a charge of attempted murder stemming from an assault incident Friday night with Minot police has lost his spot on the team.
21-year-old Jesse Ili's name was pulled from the MSU roster on the website around 9:00 Saturday morning.
One MSU official says His locker is cleared out and he is no longer affiliated with the Beaver football team.
Ili was charged with attempted murder, preventing arrest and assault on an officer along with three misdemeanor charges.
Four other Minot State football players were arrested Friday night and face misdemeanor drug charges. Their names remain on the team roster.
Police continue to look for a sixth suspect.
Minot State released a statement yesterday saying all five players have been suspended.
It may have been in the 40s this morning, but that did not stop kids from lining up at the local water park this afternoon.
