Bakken mud is some of the toughest around...don't take my word for it...take it from the man in charge of getting that caked mud off the trucks that criss cross the booming region...

(Anthony Stacy - Hurricane Express Truck Wash GM) "It has been a process! We didn't know much about washing trucks in North Dakota but now we know a lot more about it. Apparently this Bakken mud is a lot harder than anywhere else in the US but we have it figured out now."

Anthony Stacy is the GM of Hurricane Express Truck Wash in Stanley. He's a Missouri native who now calls North Dakota home. He says they have developed chemicals to better attack the mud...and he calls this one of the toughest spots in the nation for trucks -- that means a big job for him. Here in Stanley they have added a trucker's lounge at Hurricane as well...complete with a shower so the driver can get the same treatment his or her truck is enjoying.

In Minot, two new chiropractors have started a practice...and it is their first! Drs. Jadain Kirschemann and Michael Mack just graduated this year -- making this their first venture into business. The North Dakota natives are from Mott and Devils Lake respectively, and Dr. Kirschemann says they are thrilled to come to Minot where they hope to establish themselves...

(Dr. Jadian Kirschemann - HealthSource Chiropractic) "We focus on the chiropractic adjustment as well as what we call progressive rehab therapy. That helps get the patient better and maintain the health that they achieve. We specialize in prevention, wellness, and nutrition as well."

The grand opening of the practice -- Healthsource Chiropractic, which you'll find on South Broadway in the Subway building, is Monday. With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.

Call it a case of deja vu, but Ward County voters can expect to see a bond request in front of them early next year, asking for almost the exact amount that they previously approved to build a new county office building and expand the jail.
