Fall Sports Show Setting Up

Fall Sports Show Setting Up

Posted: Updated:

setup has been going strong for most of the day.

I took a tour through the halls today and talked to some of the exhibitors.

They say they're ready for the kick-off of this two day event tomorrow morning.

How much more setup do you have left to do before you're ready for tomorrow?

(Alex Klingbeil, Two Guys Fishing Shacks Co-Owner)"Alot."

(Steve Burton, Sportsmans Loft Co-Owner)"Oh, I'd say about four hours."

That's the work it takes to bring a taste of the outdoors to one central location, but that's exactly what's happening at the North Dakota State Fair Center.

Displays are being built and large merchandise is moving in for the first annual KX Outdoor Fall Sport Show."

The two-day event is centered around the great outdoors, an idea that exhibitors see as a prime opportunity for showcasing their supply of sporting goods.

(Alex Klingbeil, Two Guys Fishing Shacks Co-Owner)"We actually just started this business about, I wan't to say February of this year so this is our first go-around at any show."

(Steve Burton, Sportsmans Loft Co-Owner)"This gives me a different exposure here and I can set up and bring some things out of storage that I don't always have in the store.

The show is designed to cater to anyone with a love for the outdoors.

Everything from hunting merchandise to ATVs will consume the spaces of the exhibit halls.

(Alex Klingbeil, Two Guys Fishing Shacks Co-Owner)"We've got the icehouses so that'll be more ice fishing. It's the time of the year for deer season now. It's already going so we're trying to target all the hunters."

(Steve Burton, Sportsmans Loft Co-Owner)""I just say hunting accessories mainly.

While the exhibitors are putting a lot into setup, they're hoping customers will get a lot out of the KX Outdoor Sport Show. >>

It will pick back up Saturday morning at 9 am.
